Gilles works in the field of corporate finance. In this capacity, he advises clients on stock market law, mergers and acquisitions and financial restructuring. He also has extensive experience in restructuring and litigation, which he has always developed in parallel with his advisory work. He has been involved in numerous international arbitrations and business law litigation, including criminal law (e.g. insider trading).

Gilles is bilingual in French and English.

Gilles holds a Master’s degree in private law from the University of Paris Nanterre and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1981. He was for many years a partner in internationally renowned law firms (Gide, Lovells, Nixon Peabody). Former Secretary of the Conférence du Stage des Avocats au Barreau de Paris, Gilles is a founding member of Harbour Avocats.
