Jessica Schinkel

Jessica assists and advises companies, their managers and shareholders, in France and abroad. Her expertise spreads mainly in the fields of business ethic, governance, risk management and compliance (GRC), distribution law (setting-up and development de franchise or master-franchise networks), as well as in equity transactions and mergers & acquisitions (sale side or buy side). She is also involved in outsourcing legal and/or compliance functions, on a time-sharing or transitional basis, remotely or on-site. She also assists legal and/or compliance departments with their operational management, as well as their structuring, transformation, development and digitalization projects (so-called legal operations).

Jessica is bilingual in French and English.

ABOUT

Holder of a Master’s degree in Business Law and Tax from Toulouse-Capitole University, a post-graduate degree (DESS) in Business law, Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring  from Paris-Saclay University and a LLM in Business Law from Northumbia de Newcastle Upon Tyne University. Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2004 et currently enrolled in the Executive Master Compliance from Dauphine-PSL University, Jessica developed solid expertise over 15 years with leading French and international law firms. She then spent 8 years as Director of Legal Affairs and Compliance, member of the Executive Committee, in a leading catering group. Jessica set up her own structure to join Harbour in 2025.
